Les associations en première ligne pour aider les plus démunis

Face à la progression de la pandémie de COVID-19 en France, le risque pour les personnes les plus vulnérables est aujourd’hui particulièrement important.

Parmi celles-ci, les personnes à la rue et en hébergements précaires font figure de grandes oubliés. Par manque d’accès à l’information, loin des spots télévisés et des réseaux sociaux, ces personnes n’ont bien souvent pas complétement conscience des risques actuels. Aussi, et surtout, parce qu’elles n’ont pas un accès direct à l’eau, à l’hygiène et à des sanitaires.

Au regard de l’urgence, de nombreuses associations et collectifs sont mobilisés sur le terrain en soutien aux acteurs de la solidarité, déjà présents auprès des plus précaires.

Dans le Nord, à Lille,  depuis le début du confinement, les associations estiment que plus de 4.500 repas sont distribués par jour dans la métropole lilloise grâce notamment au concours de la Ville de Lille et de l’État.

Dans le Pas-de-Calais, depuis plusieurs années des familles rroms vivent, ou plutôt tentent de survivre, dans le bassin minier du Pas-de-Calais sur différents sites.

Le Collectif Fraternité rroms, association affiliée à la Fédération du Pas-de-Calais a alerté les pouvoirs publics et s’est mobilisé en relayant un appel aux dons.

L’aide peut prendre bien des formes, mais dans l’immédiat les bénévoles ont surtout besoin d’aide financière.
