Première résidence d’artiste de 2018 avec Charlotte Yonga

Photo MiAA - article avril 2018Lundi 12 mars 2018, l’artiste Charlotte Yonga est arrivée pour six semaines de résidence d’appui artistique aux Argousiers (Centre d’hébergement et d’éducation à l’environnement de la Ligue de l’enseignement du Pas-de-Calais), où elle sera présente jusqu’au 20 avril 2018.

Vous pouvez suivre son périple et la production de ses gestes artistiques avec les enfants et les adultes qui fréquentent le centre sur notre site internet dédié.

Ces gestes artistiques pourront prendre diverses formes, de l’échange avec l’artiste autour de l’œuvre à la création d’objets, les possibilités sont nombreuses.

Fascinée par les visages qu’elle observe et dessine depuis son enfance, Charlotte Yonga a naturellement décidé de les photographier au gré de son travail et de ses rencontres. “Tailler” les modèles de ses portraits comme des sculptures pour en révéler le volume et la texture, voilà son défi. Par la composition minutieuse de ses photographies au moyen format argentique – un médium de surface, plat et figé par définition – cette artiste donne corps aux portraits qu’elle réalise.

La mission d’appui artistique est initiée à des fins de démocratisation culturelle et plus particulièrement d’éducation artistique et culturelle tout au long de la vie. La résidence-mission va amener sur « Les Argousiers » de nombreuses œuvres de l’artiste en résidence ; c’est l’occasion pour tous d’échanger et de discuter avec un artiste au plus près de ses productions. Nous proposons des actions de médiation culturelle au cœur même de l’exposition.
