Une nouvelle résidence d’artiste aux Argousiers cet été !

Depuis le 4 juin et jusqu’au 13 juillet, retrouvez la peintre Emilie Picard dans notre Centre d’hébergement et d’éducation à l’environnement de Merlimont.

MiAA Emilie PicardDepuis le 4 juin, Emilie Picard s’est installée en résidence artistique aux Argousiers. Elle sera présente sur le Centre jusqu’au 13 juillet, soit six semaines de pleine présence pour réaliser différents gestes artistiques avec tous les publics du centre. Il est des peintres qui œuvrent par sédimentation. Émilie Picard, elle, travaille par tâches : la peinture se construit par la reconstitution, pièces après pièces, de ce sur quoi elle s’exerce ; elle est elle-même de l’ordre de la fabrique. Ici, le geste est rapide. À tel point qu’on pourrait croire chaque tableau construit d’un seul geste comme si, rassemblant très vite les pièces de son sujet, l’artiste ne laissait rien échapper à l’entreprise de falsification du monde. Il s’agit de coudre entre eux des pans entiers de réel.

La mission d’appui artistique est initiée à des fins de démocratisation culturelle, et plus particulièrement d’éducation artistique et culturelle. Durant ses six semaines de résidence, l’artiste résidente met en place une action de médiation culturelle autour de ses œuvres exposées sur le centre, ainsi que la co-construction de gestes artistiques avec les publics. Ces gestes artistiques peuvent prendre diverses formes, de l’échange avec l’artiste autour de l’oeuvre à la création d’objets… les possibilités sont nombreuses.

Ce dispositif est mis en place par La Ligue de l’enseignement du Pas-de-Calais et soutenu par le Ministère de la Culture.
